ElemenTel back Southampton Hospitality Awards 2020

On the 7th of February, the winners of the Southampton Hospitality Awards 2020 were announced. The awards recognised the best the hospitality industry has to offer in the Southampton region. Customer service, commitment & market growth are all factors which were considered. ElemenTel, alongside a whole host of other local businesses, was pleased to support this fantastic recognition of hospitality services. The awards promoted Southampton as the wonderful city it truly is. The Hospitality Awards 2020 are an opportunity for businesses to share best practices amongst each other, whilst collaboratively working to boost Southampton’s already thriving hospitality scene.

Furthermore, the evening was all in support of a good cause. The charity FareShare received 100% of profits from the hospitality awards evening, supporting in their great cause of fighting hunger and tackling food waste.  The Southampton Hospitality Awards supports & gives back to the local community. This is one of the primary reasons why ElemenTel wanted to be a part of the fantastic awards evening.

ElemenTel are proud sponsors of the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award.’ Our very own HR Manager Linda Stiles, and Paul Mannell our Business Consultant, presented the prestigious award. The Lifetime Achievement Award recognises individuals who have dedicated their lives to the pursuit of perfection within the challenging industry. It really does take something special to even be shortlisted for this phenomenal award – a true showcase of commitment to the hospitality industry. It offers deserved recognition to those who have made a significant impact on their business over a long duration.

After much deliberation and debate, the amicable Suzanne Meeze, from the Holiday Inn in Fareham, was determined the victor of the Lifetime Achievement Hospitality Award 2020. Any of the nominations would have been worthy winners but we felt that as Suzanne has become such an integral part of her hotel’s operations, the Lifetime Hospitality Award 2020 couldn’t go anywhere else.
